The
union budget for 2016 has given the much required boost for this segment as
government has allotted a humongous amount of Rs. 90,000 Cr. to the
construction sector by clearing most of the stuck road & highway
construction projects & introduction of new long term projects for the
current FY.

as per the new announcements, the Smart city project got an official funding
from the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank who have agreed to provide
$1-bn and 0.5-bn respectively to build these projects & Smart Cities that
are currently under construction in Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Bhubaneswar,
Udaipur, Jaipur, Ludhiana and Jabalpur are going to be beneficiaries of funding
assistance.
With
these new investments coming we are sure the sector will gain momentum again
and demand for both new & used road building equipments will rise.
