1. Honda Cars India close to finalize a new plant in Gujarat
According to a report on the Economic Times, Honda Cars India is close to finalizing a new plant in Vithalapur, around 80 km from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Within the next few weeks, the car maker would sign a State Support Agreement with the Gujarat government industries commissioner to take the same ahead.

2. India-bound Suzuki S-Cross diesel gets a Twin Clutch automatic transmission
The Suzuki S-Cross DDiS diesel will now get an automatic transmission for the U.K. market, the company announced in a statement. Until now, the S-Cross diesel in Europe was available exclusively with a 6-speed manual, in 2WD and 4WD guises.

3. 2015 Honda Jazz launches in India next week, 3 things you should know:
a. Tops in fuel efficiency: The Jazz diesel is announced with an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 27.3 km/l, making it the most fuel efficient vehicle in its segment

b. Engine options: The Jazz 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol makes use of the same engine found in the Brio. However, on the Jazz, this engine is dialed up to 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque.

c. Petrol gets a CVT with paddle-shifters: The petrol variant of the Jazz will get a CVT with paddle shifters, and is sure to appeal to those seeking a city runabout.

4. India-bound Jaguar F-Pace with sparse camouflage revealed
A Jaguar F-Pace prototype will be the official support vehicle for Team Sky in this year’s Tour de France. While the prototype is still secret, it gives us the best possible look at Jaguar’s first SUV in its 80-year heritage.

5. Mahindra Scorpio automatic launch nears, to get 6-speed unit
According to a report, Mahindra has applied for registration of the Scorpio automatic with the RTO, and the following document also states that it will be available in both 2WD and 4WD options.
